Developments

I didn't sleep well last night and it's all Megan's fault.

My friend, Megan from Fried Okra is quite possibly having her sweet baby boy right this very minute - she left for the hospital last night with her contractions at 4 minutes apart.

Or, she could be sitting at home on her couch bemoaning the fact that she had false labor and not answering her phone.

How am I to know?

At any rate. I have developed a sweet friendship with Megan and we have chatted daily leading up until this last week when my life took on some elements of insanity. Things are going to change immensely for her once she brings Peanut home - and I couldn't be more thrilled for her. I remember when we brought our son home - we had a 6 year old daughter who was so excited to see her new brother - I pray it's that way for Megan with Bean as well and all is smooth sailing.

Speaking of smooth sailing, several months back, I purchased a box of Colonix® from the Dr. Natura website. I finally started it this past weekend after months of freaking out over what might be in me. Seriously, if you have a weak stomach and think you might possibly pass out just by looking at dukey photos, do not click over to their site, because it's like Alien in technicolor.

Rest assured, I'll not be posting any photos or going into graphic detail on my blog. Everything you could possibly want to know and more is on the Dr. Natura website and youtube. (eww...gross) But I will be letting you know if it's working or not and if the Colonix® is worth the $88 I spent. I know, the anticipation will eat you up, won't it?

On the design front - my order pad is closed for a couple (or few) months. A majority of this summer has been spent (or wasted, however you want to look at it) in front of my computer and I have had to look at how much time I spend with my family vs. on the computer - it wasn't pretty. I'm working Melanie's editorial calendar now and I have got to cut back somewhere while I try to get our homeschool going.

My husband and I had some extreme bonding time yesterday and I'll be back later this afternoon with photos chronicling our special time together. (g-rated, I promise)

Lastly, this has basically just been one big post telling you that I'm not posting anything newsworthy right now. :)

I've been wondering about Megan all day too! Hopefully she'll give Al the keys to her blog to give us a quick update sometime.

Or you could call her every hour until someone answers just to get the dang thing to stop ringing. ;)

Hubby bonding time is the best. Mr Lemon and I had a day off together Tuesday, and I couldn't have enjoyed it more.

I wonder if baby has made arrival yet?? I'm couting on you to keep us posted!! I love how you made me read the whole thing before telling me you had nothing to say. Smooth move there!! I fell for it. Hope you are having a great week.

i'm just interested to know how things turn out...$88 is a lot to spend if it doesn't live up to your expectations!

One of the Colonix testimonials was titled "Soon, I may have to buy a bigger toilet". That says it all. Let us know if you are having any porcelain bathroom fixtures custom made in the near future.

Yay for bonding time!

I really hope you're getting your $88 worth. =)

I'm gearing up for homeschooling as well. I intend to start the 25th, but one of my boys' stuff has yet to arrive in the mail. Lucky for him, I guess.

Have a great weekend!
