My kids know all the lyrics to the songs on Journey's Greatest Hits, and most Weird Al songs, and definitely everything on the local Christian pop station, but I rarely listen to anything anymore. Not really any reason. Hmm. Food for thought.

But the positive attitude all the time? I like it that my kids see my grouchy and down sometimes. When I'm grouchy and snap at them, I think it helps to tell them that it's me, not them. And when I'm down (which isn't often), they see I'm real, sometimes hurting. And that that's okay and that it doesn't last forever. That I can relate to them when they're down. Especially homeschooling, it's difficult being "on" all the time. It comes out somewhere else eventually.

Sorry. I'm struggling right now with just "being" and everything that comes with it.Fleahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03412755038083750088noreply@blogger.com
