Par-tay
You're all invited to get your party on. Your blog party, that is. Today is the first day of the "Ultimate Blog Party" over at 5 Minutes for Mom.
So...if you're still reading this, I must tell you - I love the ellipses. I know, I know...they're really not "acceptable" in bloggityville. But I love 'em. So you'll see lots of them, k?
This is the part where I tell you something about myself, right? I'm fixin' (that's slang for "about") to be 38 in June. Well, I'm a stay-at-home homeschooling mom of three. I'm sure there are moms that don't stay at home and homeschool, but I have no idea how you'd do that because I have to stay on my kids like White on Rice. Our day typically starts out with a few grumbles about having "another" schoolday, then mom cracks the whip and out come the books with "smiles on our faces". We LOVE school.
Oh...and the other thing I love? Sarcasm. So you'll have to excuse me. I know it doesn't always read right...the way I say it in my head is most certainly NOT the way you are going to hear it. But I digress...(see? there's those ellipses again)
The three happy kids are pictured here: (well, one's not so happy)

We live in the second largest state of Texas (I lived in Alaska for 20 years, so I have dual bragging rights...you know how us Texans LOOOOOVE to brag) and are a happy family. For real. Even though I don't always blog about the good stuff - we're devoted to one another, and to God.
But that's not ALL I do...my husband and I own our own business - we actually have a mission - to help folks like us get out of debt and become financially independent.
I also spend A LOT of time reading my favorite blogs...and the list is ever-growing...I think I'm up to 64 now? Thank goodness for Google Reader! Phew.
I'm an avid reader (as mentioned above)...some of the books I'm currently reading you'll find on the left sidebar. See? I don't just read blogs...I actually read other stuff too! In addition to everything else, I'm actively involved in my church and Lord only knows why...but I'm over the Nursery. (I guess it's because I can't have any more - and He knew if I cared for those little bundles of poop...er, joy during SS, then I'd be okay with that).
So thanks for stopping by...hope to see you again soon. Feel free to browse the archives...but get yourself a drink and stay awhile. You can read my most recent posts here if you want a better sampling of moi. If you have any questions...shoot em straight into the comments. I'll be visiting you!
