I think she's a commedian being funny. That'll probably be an unpopular thing to say on your blog, but that's what I think.

This does not offend me, but I can see where it would offend some. I agree with a lot of what the guy from Philly said. A) She's a shock comedian--that's her schtick. B) Why should it be any more offensive for her to say Jesus didn't have anything to do with her earning an award than it is for someone to thank Jesus for giving them the award? Now, I will say that "Suck it, Jesus!" is certainly inflammatory. If she had just left it at 'Jesus didn't give me this award' I think she would have been better off. But then, see A.

My thoughts are the same as they've always been with this particular person -- she's about the most unfunny "funny" person I've ever seen, besides being sad and pathetic...and I don't mean that in an angry way. She's blind and lives in a world of darkness. I've been exposed to her "schtick" for quite a while now. Clay Aiken, who I happen to admire as much for his humanitarian work and character as for his beautiful voice and talent, has been a frequent butt of her very vulgar jokes. What I find even more deplorable than her act is that there are people who eat it up with a spoon. I'll never understand that.
