Boy, is my face red

Ahem.

From time to time, I get up on a soapbox proclaiming with zest over something I am passionate about. I usually make every attempt to thoroughly research before doing so. That said, on the subject of the CPSIA, there is so much MISinformation circulating the internet, that I am afraid I might have gotten caught up in the moment.

My dear sweet friend, Jeanette sent me a link from Snopes regarding the CSPIA post I published yesterday.

In effect, it says that it will not affect used children's clothing, etc, etc, etc...

I now return you back to your regularly scheduled blog reading, albeit with a redder face. ;)

You are not the only one red faced I got on the band wagon and sent the same info to EVERY homeschooler I know only to have one send the Snopes link I sent you... so just shows you that we are both passionate about what we believe in.

By the way are you coming to my Moms Dinner on the 27th???

I would not be too red, that law about the used only changed the night of the 8th when they decided not to include used. Until then they were included.

Basically, it is still a dumb law as written, and many of us trying to help our incomes will be harmed greatly.

I'm relieved at this change.

Karen - don't be red-faced for posting this. This act still has many, many disconcerting elements that will have a negative impact on many small business owners in this country. It is in desperate need of revision. Thank you for speaking to it.

I don't think you should be embarrassed, as this is still a major concern. Yes, it might be a bit different than you originally thought, but the ramifications of this law are still a huge issue to the cottage industry. We still can't just let it slide by.

Don't be red faced they just amended that at the end of last week. But it's still really subjective.

:) I think you are your cutest when you're on your soapbox, darlin'. And it's an important one, so you just hold that chin up and be proud of your pretty little face!

Hey, stand behind your stand! No apologies needed, you are among people who care about ya!

I agree with what everyone here has said already. We still need to be concerned and watching this carefully. You were just trying to protect our rights! Lisa~

Well at least you can admit when you are wrong. I have a friend who will never back down when she is wrong. It gets awkward sometimes when she does that.
